Travel insurance is a service offered to travellers by travel insurance companies with the aim to cover emergencies and urgencies that the passenger might experience on their trip abroad.

The insurance covers travel worldwide and travellers can use the services anywhere in the world (except in the travellers country of original nationality).

Yes, for all of our plans it is possible to purchase a plan if you are already traveling. It is important to note, you will have grace days that range from 3 to 12 days depending on the plan that you choose (ask us on whatsapp).

We offer two types of coverage:

Short-term coverage: The price is quoted per day (generally it is for less than 30 days).

Long-term coverage: Ranges from 30 days to 365 days. This type of coverage is generally used for work and travel, working holidays, study visas or work visas.

In the event of an accident, the traveller has 4 contact channels available (Whatsapp, Email, Skype and Telephone). You must notify the insurer within 24 hours of the emergency. We recommend writing via Whatsapp and the insurer will verify your identity and can give you one of four types of care:

-Tele-Medicine: A doctor can call you online through Whatsapp or Skype and this service is organised and paid for in advance by the insurer.

– Medical Center: The insurer will look for the closest medical center that has availability and will inform you of the place and time where you must appear to treat your emergency or urgency.

-Reimbursement: For this option, the insurer will authorize you to choose the place to receive your medical attention, you pay with your money and then the insurer will refund the amount back to your bank account (the refund delay period is between 30 and 60 business days).

-Doctor at home: The insurer will send a doctor to visit you at your current address.

*The type of care you receive will depend on certain factors such as: what emergency or urgency it is, the place where you are, the hours and the availability of the medical centers that are close to you.

Each insurer has different conditions. Most (but not all) insurance plans cover the ages from 0 to 85 years and cover all nationalities. Please contact us to verify that your age and nationality falls within the conditions of the plan you want to purchase before purchasing.

Yes, we can change your insurance start date for free on the condition that you notify us up to 2 business days before the service takes effect.

Yes. You can renew your insurance with the same company but first we need to request an authorization from the insurer. We recommend notifying us one week before your travel insurance expires, and in the event that the renewal is not authorized with the same insurer, we can offer you another company so that you can continue your trip safely.
